I have studied and practiced self-growth and spiritual subjects for well over 15 years now. In 2001 I began my experience of Psychosynthesis, initially as a "client" of a third year student who was studying Jay Ray's three year course in Psychosynthesis and Transpersonal Therapies.

In 2002, having gained a lot of growth from approximately 9 months of Psychosynthesis, I decided to take things to the next stage and enroll in First Year of Jay's course. Enjoying the challenges and growth from Year 1 I continued on to Second and Third years of the training, completing my training in 2004.

I decided to continue on with using and promoting Psychosynthesis. As a member of the Southern Psychosynthesis Community Network I designed and set up their website, to help the continued promotion of Psychosynthesis within New Zealand and internationally.

I established my own 'practice', Inner Path to provide services (primarily individual sessions, and small group training) to the local community.

Psychosynthesis has been an excellent platform and set of tools and maps for me to continue my exploration of life, the universe, and everything. While I wouldn't say that Psychosynthesis is my life, it is certainly a big part of my life, and fits in with various other beliefs and practices in my life.

During my studies I became aware of Roberto Assagioli's proposal for the Will Project. As concepts relating to the Will have been recurring during my studies, I decided to investigate the status of the Will Project. I found very little information online, so in July 2005 I posted a message to the Psychosynthesis group on Yahoo! Groups, requesting information on the status of this project[1].

I received little response, and continued on with other projects.

In October 2006 I ended up reading more material with concepts relating to the Will. It reminded me of the Will Project once more, so I once again searched the net for information relating to it. I came across a blog posting by David Watkins where he asked:

"Are there potential technological tools that could facilitate the completion of a project like Will Project? Would it be possible that there could be idea management software, databases, contact creation and control software, which would make the management of such a project more effective and efficient? Would the technologists who get involved with Technology Initiative for Peace be able to provide such technology and the instruction for its use?"

I posted once again to the Psychosynthesis group on Yahoo! Groups [2]. This time I received a few more responses, so felt inspired to establish the Will Project website, and set up a wiki to allow easy collaboration by anyone else inspired to be involved, even if it is just to suggest one book that relates to the Will.
